Brolga-002 Mobile Cold Spray System

The Brolga-002 Mobile Cold Spray System is an all inclusive system that includes the fully-functioning on-board VRC® Raptor™ cold spray system, a Fanuc 6-axis articulating arm robot with a 22 pound (10 kg) payload capacity, on-board high-pressure compressed air process gas generation and storage, a 1200CFM portable and deployable dust collector and a hydraulic extendable boom hoist to deploy and stow the mobile spray cart and dust collector. There is also a separate diesel generator with 70kVA output capacity.

The mobile cold spray cart has a robot with controller, controller pendant, VRC® Raptor™ heater and powder feeder on-board. Other features include deployable outriggers for in-process stability and easy accessibility to all on-board equipment.

Though the system comes complete with compressed air generation and storage, nitrogen and/or helium 12-packs could be used in place of the included compressed air setup for repairs requiring inert gases. It also comes with the hand-held applicator when the job requires human interface.
